We had a lovely Easter Sunday spent with family and friends. Mike & I love hosting events in the new house. Our neighbors commented that we always seem to have lots of cars in the driveway. We laughed and said that’s how we like it! After having everyone over for an egg hunt and lunch, we had church later that day. Christmas is obviously very special, but the older I get, the more I appreciate the beauty of Easter. At church we sang,
How deep the Father’s love for us,
How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure
So thankful for Easter and all it represents. Singing that song as a congregation was the perfect way to end a beautiful day.
Now for the photo recap. This is the face I got when I asked to take his photo. Attitude much?
Then he decided to do this. Clearly, he’s a bit uncooperative.
This is the best it got.
Since photos of him by himself went so well, I thought we’d add another toddler to the mix. They look thrilled, right???
On to the egg hunt. Super into it this year. We put quarters in his eggs, and at the end he got to put them in his piggy bank. He thought that was awesome.
He wanted a photo with the bunny. He has an obsession with this creepy, lawn rabbit statue thing. He sometimes sleeps with it. It’s pretty bizarre, but that’s another story.
A few iPhone pics.
Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!
