Party at the Farm

We celebrated Lincoln’s birthday this year at one of our favorite places, Santa’s Christmas Tree Forest! We like to go there during the fall for all the activities and pumpkin patch and then of course we like to go cut down a Christmas tree each year. I found out that you can rent the farm for parties during the spring and summer months, and I knew it would be the perfect place for Lincoln and all his buddies.

Thanks to all of our family & friends who came out and spent the afternoon with us! And thanks to fellow photographer, Lisa, for taking these photos so I could actually be in them for once.

Farm party invites from Etsy.

My first attempt at a 2 tiered cake & farm fresh eggs (aka cake balls) in the carton.

My father-in-law loves to bake pies, so I asked him if he would like to make a bunch of mini pies for the guests to take home, and then I made some little gift tags for them.

He decided that it was his party and he’d eat pie before dinner if he wanted to.

Dessert makes him happy. I can relate.

Getting a hug from his friend.

Pony ride. I was so surprised he jumped right on the horse and wasn’t afraid at all.

The giant bounce pillow proved to be fun for the kids and adults.

Getting all geared up to go on the zip line.

Mommas from our play group. (Minus Caimbrin who was tending to Cora)

  1. oh my gosh, oh my gosh! Can’t handle the cuteness! Lincoln looked adorable and the party was awesome. Best place ever to have a toddler birthday. So copying if i can find a place around here. He looked like a pro on the horse. Can’t believe I missed this.

  2. best party ever! I never thought I would have so much fun at a toddler birthday party. I hope 3 has a bounce pillow too ;)
